Job Overview:

The Infrastructure Core Services Team is responsible for the global MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment including Inventory, Server & Client management, Software packaging and distribution, Patch management, OS deployment and Windows client OS servicing, Global Windows client strategy, Global Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Identity management, Azure SSO&MFA, Office 365 and other core services. The Active Directory administrator works with the global IT team to support the enterprise Active Directory environments and administers the AD architecture and design, including upgrades and new structure re-designs and works with IT project teams and the network security team for delivery of new or changed IT services.

Responsibilities:


  • Works with the IT operations teams and other IT teams to support and maintain the global Active Directory environment.

  • With the Manager IT Directory Services plans AD security management and user account management.

  • Manages DNS, DHCP, VPN Radius servers, group policies and other AD related topics.

  • Manages Active Directory problems according to the established standards and processes.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves AD issues impacting enterprise IT users.

  • Proactively communicates the status, plans of action, and resolutions for issues.

  • Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the Active Directory infrastructure by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Evaluates new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with business's needs, including upgrades and new structure re-designs

  • Assists with maintenance of global security, standards and procedures for AD

  • Support M&A activities and other IT projects

  • Maintain the IT documentation for the responsible areas.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience supporting Active Directory and Information Technology experience with large sale Microsoft server environments.

  • Experience with Active Directory administration including architecture and design, upgrades, security management, Federation Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO and user account management.

  • Experience with Windows servers and desktop products.

  • Scripting experience required.

  • Experience with different network types (i.e. LAN, WAN, WLAN).

  • Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and to work within strict time-frames and hard deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
