WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Columbia, MO office, you will be Senior Engineering Lab Technician.

This position reports to the Senior Material Development Manager and works with the Materials Science team and laboratory. This person will coordinate and execute process and testing activities to develop materials for the next generation of power transmission and fluid power products. Specifically, this position will produce prototype samples, execute material tests, and compile and analyze data.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Plan and execute prototype production according to detailed engineer instructions
  • Execute lab orders, following specific material formulation & testing directions
  • Provide accurate and repeatable data, understanding this is critical to achieve department objectives
  • Compile and analyze data with the opportunity to present to technical and non-technical staff
  • Working knowledge of equipment, chemicals, and materials to ensure productivity and safety

ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) is very helpful
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in a production or laboratory environment is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Full-Time: $31 - $34 hourly
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
