Director of Organizational Advancement & Development

The development and oversight of strategies to advance organizational resources through integration of fundraising (events and campaigns), marketing and communications, public grants, advocacy and volunteers. Coordinate all contributed revenue for the affiliate to enable growth of mission impact. Work in partnership with Executive Director, Fundraising Committee of the Board and other affiliate leadership.

Responsibilities:
Implement and constantly update the Resource Development Strategy, in coordination with Executive Director, staff, and fundraising committee (Individuals, Major Gifts, Foundations, Faith Based Institutions, Public Grants, Corporations, and Endowment).
Manage and develop team of professionals to ensure organizational efficiency.
Collaborate with the Finance & Operations Director and Executive Director to establish annual giving, land, and endowment goals.
Maintain and grow existing sources of funding. Identify and solicit new funding sources (public and private).
Oversee special events to maximize fundraising, stewardship and marketing potential.
Review and keep fresh, existing fundraising collateral, e.g. Impact Report, videos, brochures, etc.
Ensure fundraising database (Salesforce) is maintained accurately and well utilized across the affiliate.
Oversee all Marketing and PR activities, external communications, newsletter, website, retail promotions, social media and special communications.
Work in partnership to oversee all donor and volunteer communications align - solicitations and stewardship initiatives.
Serve as staff support to the Fundraising Committee of the Board - strategically engage all board members in fundraising and development.
Actively participate as a member of Leadership Staff (Executive Director and direct reports).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
5+ years of experience in non-profit development, fundraising and/or sales.
Preferred understanding of non-profit requirements related to gifts and grants.
Local knowledge of the Midlands philanthropic community.
Experience with strategic leadership, goal setting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Managerial experience working with teams and direct reports.
Strong communication skills (both oral and written), Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Marketing and Public Relations exposure.
Commitment to affordable homeownership and to Central SC Habitat for Humanity's mission.
Full-time, flexible hours. Some weekday evenings and weekends required.
