Basic Function

The Digital Capacity Planning and Reporting Analyst will report to the Manager, Strategy and Performance in the Digital Technology (DT) organization. The capacity planner defines process excellence in resource, capacity and capability management. The role is responsible for tracking current DT resource needs and predicting and meeting future DT resource needs to ensure the organization is able to support its business demands. Capacity planning is an important part of the overall management cycle, and it helps to optimize DT and avoid performance issues and ensure right resources are supporting the right demand.

Capacity planning can help to support strategic initiatives, such as new product launches, market expansion, or increased market share.

This role is open to candidates based in US, Rotterdam & India

Roles & Responsibilities

This position reports to the DT Business Analyst Team Manager and supports other Business Analysts. They are responsible for developing and maintaining a trusted business relationship driving the greatest possible business value from IT investments.




  • Plays a key role in driving the Enterprise Digital Technology organization capacity planning and reporting across the Leadership Team. Establishes, tracks and reports headcount, utilization, capacity, skills and needs across the Digital Technology organization
  • Creates and implements a capacity planning framework and provides process excellence of the resource capacity management process
  • Forecasting resource demand by predicting future capability needs for resources based on current trends and business needs
  • Continuously monitoring and collecting performance and resource utilization data
  • Advising on capacity management, including current and future cost management as well as capability gaps
  • Maintains the capability matrix for DT
  • Prepares and shares a monthly view of capacity plans at the team, department, and overall operations level and identifies opportunities to optimize workforce and create efficiencies
  • Collaborates on implementation of and improvements to any capacity management tools selected by DT including providing requirements, testing and training on the system
  • Defining and driving our KPI metrics for utilization, forecast to actuals, skill gaps

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (for example engineering, science, computer science, business, supply chain.)
  • 5+ years total work experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at senior levels across organizational and functional boundaries and to coach and develop professional staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in resource management in a complex digital/IT, or similar multidimensional teams at a global level.
  • Experience in deploying cross functional process improvements at scale
