The Pharmacist Coordinator A - Pediatrics is responsible for verifying all medication orders dispensed from the Pediatric Pharmacy to patient care units, including oral, sterile, and non-sterile compounds. This role also serves as a reference for medication needs at the Rubenstein clinic, supports the replenishment of code boxes and kits, and responds to RRT (Rapid Response Team) and DART (Disaster Assistance Response Team) calls.

Minimum Requirements:




  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm D. or BS degree. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Previous health-system experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel is desired.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.
  • Hospital and departmental education requirements completed within 90 days of hire. ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired.


Salary Range: Minimum 50.27 per hour - Maximum 83.01 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
