Job Overview:
The position of Senior Financial Analyst, M&A is a pivotal role in the integration of newly acquired companies into the existing Ingersoll Rand business processes and systems. This position will lead and support all aspects of transaction execution related to system set-up, general accounting, reporting, system access, treasury, tax, shared services, controllership and audit. Responsibilities may also include tasks necessary to ensure business continuity for finance functions such as general ledger accounting, payroll, collections, accounts receivable and accounts payable processing. This individual will also partner with local business teams to drive growth and operational performance through key metric development and analysis, financial forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc business support of strategic initiatives. The business partners supported by this role may include multiple business leaders necessary for strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and/or support all aspects of transaction execution related to system set-up, general accounting, reporting, access, treasury, tax, shared services, controllership and audit.
* Evaluates acquired ERP and/or CRM systems and potentially develop strategy and timing to integrate into one of Ingersoll Rand's existing systems.
* Develop relationships with local leadership for conducting performance reviews to uncover opportunities for growth, uncover areas of risk, and create necessary action plans. Also create synergy plans with existing Ingersoll Rand sites
* Evaluate financial controls and pro-active partnering with both internal and external audit teams in the identification and resolution of current and/or future gaps
* Provide oversight to the site(s) finance teams and ensures integrity of the general ledger and summary reports to provide complete, accurate and timely financial information to management. Coordinates monthly closing activities with other departments to ensure complete and timely flow of financial data necessary for corporate and other reporting requirements.

* Responsible for development and execution of financial reporting packages including working capital in alignment with US GAAP, Corporate Policy and consistent practices.

* Participation in business forecasting and Annual Operating Plan process.
* Provides a variety of analysis and reports, such as revenue and cost reporting, variance analysis and schedules for external and internal requests, as needed.
* Assists local teams with Physical Inventory requirements and initial count, cycle counting and the annual standard cost rolls. Create or enhance inventory policies to align with Ingersoll Rand standards
* Adheres to the procedures of the company manual and drives integration of new site(s) into Ingersoll Rand Policies. Create playbook for newly acquired companies within CSS NA organization.
* Other responsibilities and projects as assigned or required.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business required
* Minimum 5 years of Controller, Financial Analyst or Accounting experience supporting full P&L
* Prior experience with M&A onboarding/integration
* Strong financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management and business partnership skills required
* Self-motivated with excellent analytical and business modeling skills
* Experience with multiple ERP systems, Hyperion, and visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense,
* Knowledge of GAAP and SOX
* Strong PC Skills (Excel, Access, Power-Point) required
* Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional team
* Proven ability to manage multiple critical projects in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
* Some travel required

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
* Hybrid- 3 days in office
