Responsibilities Job Summary This position will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategies within their assigned area of focus. The position plays a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our network by providing financial guidance and managing day-to-day financial activities which can include some or all the following Financial Strategy and Planning *Develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall goals and objectives of the network. *Creating financial models for future business planning decisions in area such as new services, new market areas and service expansion *Partner with senior leaders in developing long-term financial plans. *Provide continuous improvement guidance for all finance related including accounting, financial systems, internal controls, financial analysis, budgeting, labor productivity, supply chain and reporting. Financial Operations Management *Manage and mentors finance professionals. *Support and model a service-oriented culture focused on employee engagement, clinical quality, patient safety, service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient experience. *Build and support effective collegial relationships with physicians, leaders and peers across the network to enable an environment of proper financial governance. *Maintains collaborative spirit and fosters strong partnering relationships. Financial Reporting and Analysis *Gather, interpret and evaluate financial and key metrics impacting financial performance. *Prepare and present key financial metrics and indicators. *Provide insights on financial performance and trends. *Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to support long-term initiatives. Budgeting and Cost Management *Lead budgeting process within their assigned area, by working closely with department leaders to develop annual budgets. *Monitor budgets and variances, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Required Experience 8 years of Accounting/Analytics and/or Payor based reimbursement experience Required 4 years in Healthcare based experienced Required |
