Sr. Director, Data and AI

Works closely with key business executive leadership around the world to ensure we are making the most of the powerful business relationship locally, regionally and globally. Dedicated to ensuring strategic alignment with our Data and AI suppliers on a global basis, identify growth opportunities and providing senior leadership in the transition of those opportunities into viable TD SYNNEX business results.

• Works closely with internal TD SYNNEX and key supplier leadership around the world to ensure we are effectively leveraging these powerful business relationships to positively impact our opportunities for business success on local, regional and global levels.

• Defines our global focus on the interrelated and expanding technology solutions and services offerings.

• Provides market-leading global suppliers with a strategic leadership of a senior executive resource and the dedication of an experienced, highly qualified leader who can identify and expedite growth opportunities.

• Primary interface for global business issues regarding expectations, deliverables and managing issues, decisions, increase of profitability, sources of funding and risks.

• Reviews and analyzes customer engagements and provides the strategic leadership to enable the TD SYNNEX global resources response to ensure effective operations set-up, strategic implementation and on-going business processes.

• Delivers strategic planning resource outlines and opportunity timelines for key market proposals that leverage the global resources and deliver at regional and local levels.

• Provides TD SYNNEX leadership interface with subject matter experts to ensure technical requirements and proposed business operational solutions are accurate, compelling and deliver required business results objectives.

• Prepare, deliver and execute the actions required to maximize the alignment with our Corporate Strategy and critical business priorities.

Job Level Specifications:

• Exceptionally developed management skills with defined success and experience in organizing, planning, and executing critical projects from vision through implementation.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and draw from varied resources to create clear and compelling strategic plans.

• Demonstrated exceptional oral, written and platform presentation skills.

• Exceptional personal interface and negotiation skills.

• Skilled in facilitating and conducting structured analysis and requirements gathering sessions.

• Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Strong financial acumen and ability to deal with mid and long-term financial planning

• Strong Technical background and desire knowledge and experience with Cloud and Data Center technologies.

Experience:

• Ten years of progressively more responsible experience in a distribution or related technology industry environment with at least 5 years of experience in creating and delivering complex projects with significant financial impact.

• Previous experience driving the deployment of technologies, partner programs.

• Technical knowledge, previous Solution and Services experience and expertise on Cloud and Data Center Technologies

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience.
