The Donor Collections Manager supervises fixed sites to ensure successful collection events. The manager supervises all Fixed Site Leads and staff to assure they are in compliance with all regulatory standards, collecting the optimal procedures from donors, and providing an amazing donor experience. Responsibilities Fixed Site Management: Responsible for all activities required to have a successful collection event; ensure that all fixed sites operate safely, smoothly and efficiently; actively plans, prioritizes, and reviews scheduled blood drives to assure appropriate equipment and number of staff required are scheduled, and communicating as needed to assure successful collections Collections Compliance: Ensures departmental compliance with all company SOPs and policies and external regulatory requirements, including all federal, state, and local regulations and all accrediting organizations Continuous Improvement: Recognizes and reports errors through the Blood Center's Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Ensures all staff maintain a low CQI error rate. Supervision & Coaching Employees: Supervises department staff. Assists staff with problem-solving and conflict resolution as needed. Takes appropriate disciplinary action for infractions of policy. May counsel, suspend, and recommend termination according to established policy. Interviews applicants and recommends for hire. Qualifications Medical Assisting certification required; Phlebotomy certification preferred 3-5 years' experience in healthcare and/or a blood center required 3+ years' experience in practice management preferred Must be competent in TRIMA Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and maintain low error rate Excellent ability to understand and use software relevant to this position Ability to handle difficult situations and persons tactfully and professionally Able to plan, schedule, and direct work of others Able to work well with a diverse group of people GREAT Benefits:
