Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring for an Administrative Assistant for the Plant Operations Department. This position will help with the real estate portfolio lease abstraction process. This is a temporary assignment needed for approximately 6 months. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of documentation and data management, the ability to effectively communicate and handle confidential information and sensitive documents with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Time management
  • Computer proficiency (Yardi or other real estate software preferred)
  • Attention to details
  • Adaptability
  • Organization

Preferred:

  • Experience with Yardi or other real estate software.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 8:30am 4:30pm each day
  • Monday - Friday
  • Temporary position needed for approximately 6 months

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively communicate with various internal departments and landlords, proactively follow-up for retrieval of documentation, information flow, response and action in a timely manner.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Create a contact database within new lease software.
  • Effectively multitask, anticipate and navigate multiple needs, prioritize competing tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Testing of new lease software (Yardi Corom).
  • Proactively identify administrative issues as they arise to effectively report them and make necessary corrections.
