The Vendor Operations Director oversees the entire vendor operations retrieval method process from start to finish. This includes managing the team, maintaining vendor relationships, handling the payment process, forecasting needs, and ensuring each step in the process is optimized to achieve the highest possible yield for chart retrieval

You Will:



  • Drive retrieval operations key performance indicators to achieve best in class quality and performance.
  • Analyze retrieval key performance indicators; including retrieval volumes, staff productivity and resource allocation to ensure forecasting, staffing, and scheduling plans meet business goals and objectives.
  • Oversees and manages a team including but not limited to managers, supervisors and analyst, working to retrieve charts
  • Create metrics and reporting to help drive and demonstrate successful performance for all of vendor operations retrieval method
  • Prepare and present reporting on key performance metrics for Operations Leadership on inventory management.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Development, and Director on system enhancements
  • Own vendor relationships, vendor success KPI's and contracting SLA's
  • Participate and present data during weekly meetings with the Operations Leadership Team to discuss trends, projections, and to create a plan of action to meet contact center metrics.
  • Partner with Product/Engineering to drive Automation and Digitization of HIH Processes to reduce/eliminate manual process friction and enable more consistent processes.
  • Partner with Finance on payments and reconciliations in a proactive manner
  • Be a leader in championing Continuous Improvement practices and processes


What you will bring to the table:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Experienced with Provider record retrieval processes
  • Strong decisive insight, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills in a team environment
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced team-oriented environment Sound judgment in decision making ability
  • Flexibility with working hours, which may include hours outside of normal scheduled work hours and travel up to 15%
  • Ability to provide a motivating environment for team.
  • Expertise in conducting and communicating the results of data analysis
  • Change champion who identifies innovative solutions and drives results
  • Results and quality-oriented with the ability to effectively gather, interpret and evaluate information.
  • Strong analytical skills needed to prepare and analyze data to drive KPIs and
  • Experience working in the healthcare insurance / risk adjustment industry or healthcare/health IT industry

  • Experience using Power BI and knowledge of power queries

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated compensation range for this role is$160,000 - $197,000.
