Adjunct Faculty Rasmussen University This course is the introduction course to radiography positioning and associated anatomy of the chest, bony thorax, upper extremities, and abdomen. It places focus on the foundations of diagnostically sound radiograph positioning. Topics covered will include standard routine projections for chest, bony thorax, upper extremities, and the abdomen; medical and positional terminology associated with proper positioning; and complete image analysis. This course introduces students to becoming a real-world radiographer. During this course, students will complete a clinical experience to demonstrate knowledge and skills. Reporting Relationships: Adjunct Faculty will report to an Academic Dean Responsibilities: Adjunct faculty members are primarily responsible for communicating with students and supervising Deans or other University staff related to teaching and learning. The employee is expected to perform all other duties as requested, directed, and/or assigned. Adjunct faculty will be assigned up to 3 work units per academic quarter. Our Residential Part-Time (Adjunct) Instructor roles have individual assignment responsibilities that may vary from classroom instruction, simulation and skills labs, as well as off-site clinicals. Compensation for these roles is determined based on the workload (Work Unit) associated with the specific course assignment. Those selected for these roles can expect a reasonable estimate of the current pay to be $1,700.00 per full-term Work Unit. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs. This range is subject to change. Pay is just one component of our total rewards package.
