Your Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Direct Mail Customer Service Representative, whose primary role is to interact with customers to address their concerns, answer their questions and assist them with their needs. A Direct Mail Customer Service Representative manages all direct mail programs, processes and materials to ensure effective and on time results.

Your Shift:

  • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of Direct Mail jobs being produced from inception to completion
  • Determine customer's expectations and establish work processes and timeframes to meet those expectations. Utilize and adhere to SOP's, critical path/timelines, checklists and quality for all Direct Mail projects
  • Maintain communication with all appropriate parties to ensure jobs are produced timely, efficiently and accurately; provide redirection and clarification if needed
  • Monitor the status/progress of jobs in production through use of jobs due reports, production meetings, and all appropriate means of communication and/or tracking
  • Analyze current processes and procedures to determine process gaps through continuous improvement tools and methodology
  • Inform and identify Direct Mail training deficiencies and notify appropriate personnel
  • Provide sales force feedback for use with existing and new Direct Mail customers that may enhance future sales or prevent errors
  • Attend and/or facilitate customer calls, responding to customer inquiries and communicating to sales force and operations center about Direct Mail projects as determined by sales and Customer Service Supervisor (including discovery calls as appropriate)
  • Work with USPS to determine and maintain Taylor Visual Impressions adherence to mailing specifications and postal regulations
  • Participate in Direct Mail training and certification classes
  • Develop key client contacts and relationships for continued business development

You Must Have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • The minimum related language skills required for this position is the ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, compose technical correspondence, and memos
  • Effective verbal (phone, email or face to face) and written communication skills, create professional and accurate correspondence.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, display a positive attitude and team player.
  • Take ownership to be accountable and responsible with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be Customer Focused
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, sales force and other employees in the organization
  • Ability to use experience and independent judgment to handle unique and complex situations
  • Excellent problem solving, follow-up, and organizational skills. Time and project management skills a must.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite, File Management, Microsoft Teams

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Knowledge of postal regulations, mail sorting, first class and presort standards are a plus
