PTC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support PTC's CXC Operations team. This role is ideal for a current college student interested in gaining hands-on experience in operational management and marketing within a dynamic technology environment. The CXC Operations Intern will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day activities while also contributing to marketing initiatives that promote the CXC's offerings. This is primarily an in-person role based at our Seaport location in Boston (4+ days/week).

This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of running a corporate experience center and gain exposure to an executive level audience in a leading technology company.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a project focused on aligning the CXC's discussion leader program with PTC's go-to-market strategy.
  • Assist in building and refining CXC agendas to ensure top alignment with customer needs and strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the CXC team to identify key discussion topics and ensure consistency in messaging across all agendas.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of daily activities in the CXC, including meeting setups, technology checks, and logistics management.
  • Maintain and update scheduling for customer visits, tours, and internal events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Support the team with operational tasks such as room setups, catering arrangements, and AV troubleshooting.
  • Help with monthly reporting, tracking metrics for CXC activities, and updating dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the facilities, catering and IT teams to ensure the center remains in top shape for all events.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of internal and external communications to promote the CXC, including newsletters, event updates, and marketing collateral.
  • Support marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness of the CXC's services and capabilities.
  • Help gather and create content to showcase customer visits, special events, and other CXC highlights.
  • Contribute to social media efforts by suggesting content ideas and drafting posts related to the CXC.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Events or a related field.
  • Interest in both operational execution and marketing content development.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
  • Flexible and adaptable personality with a positive attitude. The ability to stay calm under pressure and adjust to changing priorities is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with event planning or coordination.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g.,Eloqua, Canva) and basic design skills.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the tech industry.
